October 4 Member Meeting: County Prosecutor’s Race

Election season continues, and as always, the Chamber encourages you to be informed about the issues and positions that impact your business and your community.

At our October 4, 2010 Member Lunch Meeting, we will host a Candidates Forum for the County Prosecutor position. Scott Rosecrans and Paul Richmond are both running for the seat currently held by Juelie Dalzell.

Held at the Elks Club outside of Port Townsend, our Member Lunch Meetings are great opportunities to network with other business-minded folk in Jefferson County; food and beverages are available.

Recap of August 30 Member Meeting

PT City Manager Speaks at Member Lunch

We hope you can join us for this week’s (Monday, August 30) Member Lunch Meeting. Port Townsend’s City Manager David Timmons will speak about the City’s proposed capital investment strategy.

Held at the Elks Club outside of Port Townsend, our lunch meetings are great opportunities to network with other business-minded folk in Jefferson County; food and beverages are available.

At the end of the meeting, we’ll hold a new member orientation. Lasting 30 minutes, these orientations help new (and existing!) members get more out of their Chamber membership.

Member Meeting Details Chamber’s Strategic Plan, Mission, Goals

Board President Kris Nelson, and Executive Director Jennifer Wells MacGillonie gave an update today at our Monday member meeting on the recent Board of Directors mid-year retreat and strategic plan. Where we’ve come from, what are we doing, and where we are headed and how are we going to get there.
The new mission and goal of the Chamber was revealed.  Our new mission is “Advocate for, connect with, and inform member businesses.”
Our new goal is “Understand member needs. Exceed member expectations.”
