New Member Spotlight: Owl Sprit

Owls Sprit is a lunch and dinner cafe serving homemade good quality food in a warm cozy environment. We feature delicious home made foods such as kabobs (lamb kofte, organic chicken), tacos (steak, shrimp), burritos (veggie, chicken, beef), hot sandwiches (Reuben, grilled veggie, tuna melt), soups, salads, and sandwiches.

We are on Facebook and we will also be on the Port Townsend map due out this spring. We are going to have a web site soon www.owlsprit.com.

We are joining the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce because we want to step into the community even more then we are and support Port Townsend. We try really hard to work with as many local suppliers as possible for us and joining the Chamber makes sense for following with that mindset.

New Member Spotlight: Walks With Llamas

I’m Beverly McNeil and my business is “Walks With Llamas and Essence of Nature Photography” My photography offers fine quality blank greeting cards and matted and framed images and are shown by appointment with Bev. I have everything from birds to grizzlys.

My part time profession is Physician Assistant, Primary Care. My passion is hiking and nature photography and more recently my two llamas which I’ve been training and socializing over the past several months. I have had such an overwhelming response from people that I meet on a local trail or just walking the llamas down Hastings that I decided to start a business called Walks With Llamas so that people can learn more and have a personal experience with these beautiful, gentle, and intelligent animals. I’ve even had a 3 year old walking my 6 year old llama named Sweetie by herself!

I can be reached at 360-385-9730 or at btrails@q.com. Phone contact is best because I’m allergic to computers. I joined the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce so I could meet more of the community and of course to get my new business going. I’ve been living here in PT for about 5 years now. Previously from Forks 3 years, Portland 12 years, rural Alaska 12 years, Colorado as a child and young adult.

New Member Spotlight: Solutions Counseling by Craig

Meet Delle Craig of Solutions Counseling (and yes, the gracious proprietor of Dell’s Guesthouse). Delle is a seasoned counsellor who helps people overcome self-esteem and other issues. Besides her counseling credentials, she also has a strong background in Organizational Development and Systems Theory. She says that by far what really helps her to serve her clients is her own richness of life experience.

One key offering of Solutions Counseling is affordable group work on the Energy of Money. Delle helps her group to recognize how their assumptions around money impact their lives and helps them to create new stories and new ways of being. Most importantly, Delle helps her clients to recognize and live from their own value.

I could tell from my enchanting conversation with Delle that she is a wonderful and insightful listener who is really easy to talk with. She brings such a light and joy to the simple act of connecting with another human being. I felt like I was making more than a business connection, but making a new friend with whom I could be more fully authentic.

Solutions Counseling by Craig is joining the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce to “include herself in” the larger business community as well as to find networking opportunities. Contact Delle Craig at 360-385-3783.
