Chamber Merger Update

Come to New Member Orientations

Starting on August 30 at 1pm, the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce will be providing new member orientations. The orientations are a great way for new (and existing!) members to learn about how to access Chamber resources to build business and community.The orientations are also a way for Chamber staff to learn about your needs and expectations.

The orientations should last about 30 minutes, are free, and will be held the last Monday of each month.

Member Meeting Details Chamber’s Strategic Plan, Mission, Goals

Board President Kris Nelson, and Executive Director Jennifer Wells MacGillonie gave an update today at our Monday member meeting on the recent Board of Directors mid-year retreat and strategic plan. Where we’ve come from, what are we doing, and where we are headed and how are we going to get there.
The new mission and goal of the Chamber was revealed.  Our new mission is “Advocate for, connect with, and inform member businesses.”
Our new goal is “Understand member needs. Exceed member expectations.”

The Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce’s weekly Member Lunch Meetings (12pm at the Elks Club) are excellent opportunities to learn what is happening in our community, and network with fellow members of the business community.
