New Member Spotlight – Sustainable Together

Shelly Randall is a freelance writer, editor and publicist, and the author of the new blog, Sustainable Together.
If you attended her presentation to the Chamber on Nov. 14, you know Shelly is passionate about integrating economy, ecology and community. She explained how Jefferson County has already started to make the paradigm shifts necessary for a more sustainable community, and she spelled out several hopeful sustainability initiatives here that are attracting regional and national attention.
A 10-minute video excerpt from Shelly’s talk on the subject of local investing is viewable on her website.
Since 2007, Shelly’s communications consultancy, Story Services, has provided public relations for many local small-business and nonprofit clients.
“I welcome the opportunity to work with businesses, organizations and individuals who share my focus on sustainability,” says Shelly.
On her blog, she explores living more sustainably in the context of a supportive community. “I also would like to hear how you are sharing the journey toward a more sustainable life,” she says.
