The Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce is comprised of business members in Port Townsend, Port Hadlock/Tri-Area, and Port Ludlow. These beautiful communities are not only incredible places to live, they are excellent places to do business.
An easily accessible getaway with an urban feel in a rural setting, Port Townsend offers wide cultural, historic, and recreational experiences. It is nationally recognized as a destination community with a thriving arts community, vibrant walkable downtown, Victorian seaport heritage, and nearby Olympic National Park. National Geographic calls Port Townsend “one of the most sophisticated places west of Seattle” and recently ranked it the world’s 24th most historic destination.
Port Hadlock and the Tri-Area of Chimacum, Nordland, and Irondale, are at the crossroads of the most populated area in Jefferson County. This commercial hub is also the gateway to Marrowstone and Indian Islands. The area has something for everyone – from shopping and restaurants, distinctive accommodations and cultural activities, to a wide range of outdoor options such as crabbing, fishing, kayaking, and sailing–to name just a few.
Port Ludlow is a residential and recreational community built up around the shores of Ludlow Bay. The natural environment and developed facilities offer hikes on wooded trails and paths, digs for clams and oysters along the beach, drives through scenic countryside, bicycling, and jogging. For water lovers, there is a 300 slip marina as well as boat launches for sailing, power boating, fishing, windsurfing, and kayaking. Golfing is a year around activity at the Resort at Port Ludlow Bay’s renowned golf courses.
